Supporters, Volunteers, Donors

Coady has many loyal and generous Supporters, many who volunteer their time and homes.  If you are one of the generous Hosts for fundraising concerts, or if you are a student helping Coady organise his many events-thankyou!  Nothing will change for the moment. 

 One of the main purposes of Coady Pathways Inc. is to be able to confer tax deductible status to donations wherever possible.  There are limitations, however. The law requires that tax deductible donations confer no benefit on the person giving the donations.  Many of you have generously given at least $50 as a “donation” at fundraising concerts.  These will continue but they will not be eligible for tax deductibility.

Work With Us

The Board is setting up the following systems with accountabilities:

  • Financial

  • Annual reporting

  • Communications including newsletters

  • Events including concerts and an education program

  • Fundraising

  • Supporters and volunteers.

If you have skills such as:

  • Using Xero

  • Using Mailchimp for group emails

  • Creating Word or Google docs templates

  • Acting as a host to sponsor fundraising events in your home

  • Presenting masterclasses on Coady’s favorite works to interested supporters

DGR Status for Donations

There are two ways to create the possibility for a tax deductible donation.  The easiest way is to create a project under the Australian Cultural Fund and work with the Fund to describe the project and receive donations online.  We plan to create a Project from the end of May to July 31 2025, over two tax years.

We await registration of DGR Status at the Australian Tax Office. Donor Gift Recipient Status enables donors to receive tax deductible status for donations.  A donation is a gift in which the donor has no expectation of receiving anything in return.  For example, donations when you attend a musical event are not donations with DGR status, whereas an annual donation for support, a special donation towards a commission, or a general donation to help fund the day-to-day costs of Coady Pathways Inc will all be tax deductible donations both under the Australian Creative Fund, or to Coady Pathways Inc. once it receives DGR status.

Coady will soon drop supporters a note about upcoming projects so that you know what he is planning in concept for the rest of this year and for next.
